Hi! We’re Annie and Mum, the heart behind Naturally Annie
Our journey began with Annie’s special superpower:
Nothing yucky can touch her skin.
It’s true—Annie’s skin is like a tiny superhero detector. If there’s anything harsh or hidden inside kids’ makeup, her skin reacts instantly. Annie loved all things sparkly and fun, but almost everything on the store shelves left her uncomfortable.
So we started searching together.
As Mum, I dove into every ingredient list I could find, researching confusing chemical names and constantly asking:
“Why are there so many yucky things in kids’ cosmetics?”
We experimented, learned, and slowly uncovered which ingredients Annie reacted to—and which ones her skin loved. After many trials (and lots of laughs), we finally discovered a gentle, beautiful blend of clean, natural ingredients that Annie could enjoy safely.
The first time she put on her own safe makeup, her face lit up.
And then she said the words that started everything:
“We should share this with everyone!”
And from that moment, Naturally Annie was born.
What We Create
Today, every Naturally Annie product is:
- Handmade in small batches in Tauranga, New Zealand
- Crafted with pure NZ beeswax and other carefully chosen, skin-loving ingredients
- Designed especially for kids with sensitive skin
- Made so little ones can play, shine, and feel confident—without anything yucky touching their skin
This includes our popular Hair Slick Sticks, made from New Zealand beeswax for gentle hold, Argan oil for silky smoothness and Rosemary oil to nourish the hair. They keep flyaways in place with a clean, natural formula you can feel good about using on your kids.
We’ve worked incredibly hard to choose only the best, gentlest ingredients—because children with sensitive skin deserve products that help them feel included, confident, and free to express themselves.
